is a distinguished professor of literature at the Université of Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Senegal. He is a board member of the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) and he served as one of the founding members and President of GEN Africa. Pame is a respected regional community leader and former Mayor of the eco-town of Guede Chantier. He is renowned for designing and coordinating international academic programs in ecovillages across Senegal.
As the founder and President of REDES (Réseau pour l’Emergence et le Dévelopement des Ecovillages au Sahel), Dr. Pame has been instrumental in fostering sustainable development in the Sahel region. REDES collaborates with government agencies, local governments, international NGOs, and universities to create ecovillage hubs in northern Senegal and a transborder ecovillage hub between Senegal and Mauritania.

is a seasoned artist and art consultant with over 40 years of experience collaborating with non-profit organizations in New York City. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University. With a rich background in the entertainment industry spanning 35 years, Katrina has now redirected her passion towards environmental stewardship and cultural exchange. She currently serves as the International Relations and Partnership Coordinator for REDES, where she focuses on fostering connections and promoting sustainable initiatives in Senegal.
is a social worker with over thirty years of clinical experience in mental health. She is professor emeritus of The City College of New York SEEK program and a practicing psychotherapist. A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and former Fulbright Scholar in Senegal, Dr. Nazon is passionate about women’s empowerment and has co-founded and led women’s support circles in Africa and in New York. She is committed to greening and sustainability of the planet by planting trees in Africa and Haiti. She has led study abroad programs and international service learning courses in Africa and the Caribbean. She currently serves as the Academic Programs Coordinator for REDES International Service Learning Program.
is a passionate and driven changemaker with over 18 years of experience in healthcare and service industries. Holding a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, and bachelors in business administration with marketing concentration from US accredited institutions; Aïsha is deeply committed to health equity and ensuring access to quality healthcare for all, especially vulnerable populations, children, the disabled, and the elderly.
A proud Fulani woman with Sahelian roots, Aïsha is eager to contribute her expertise to REDES as the Operations and Logistics Go-To Person. She is also a Clubfoot Ambassador, passionate and dedicated to eliminating clubfoot disability by ensuring quality and affordable treatment for children born with this condition in Senegal and beyond.
