HOW YOUR DONATION CONTRIBUTES
Your donation will join the donation of others to help REDES reach tangible goals such as:
Purchases fruit trees
For food forests, for community/family orchards to improve nutrition and stop wind erosion and land degradation. Without trees, the encroachment of Sahara desert will destroy farming and herding lands and thus lead to inevitable exodus of populations.
Bring a well to a community
Enabling better health for everyone and the chance to go to school for girls who would otherwise spend their time carrying water.
Increase mobility of REDES volunteer team
For the monitoring, coordination and success of community projects, otherwise local community dynamics would not be optimal.
Install fences and plant orchards
Providing food and restoring habitat for plants and wildlife.
Build a classroom
Bringing education to boys and girls who would otherwise remain unskilled.
Build the youth center in Guede Chantier
A multifunctional place to promote youth leadership and engagement in community development programmes, otherwise they may remain passive or be tempted to move to urban centers.
Construct the women cooperative and training center
To enable women to come together, exchange their knowledge and skills, network to become prominent decision makers
